32 weeks

Latest stats: 30 pounds, belly length 35 inches, I believe I am waddling. Baby Kirdan is very active these days. Sometimes I feel I have difficulty in breathing. Wonder if he is pressing on my lung? I can see most of his movement, even little ones. Definitely need to go to bathroom very often. Have difficulty sleeping through the night. I wake up with back pains and numbness in my arms.

P.S. 28 weeks: 25 pounds, belly length 29 inches. 24 weeks: 20 pounds? belly length 24 inches.

In other news, my friend C helped zdog move furniture around the house, making room for nursery. Very happy with the new layout. Now, just need to finish unpacking and start final decoration.

Small Shake

3.7 magnitude is fairly small. But when you are right near it, it sure feels bigger.

Ode to Normal Day

Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are. Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart. Let me not pass you by in quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow. Let me hold you while I may, for it may not always be so. One day I shall dig my nails into the earth, or bury my face in the pillow, or stretch myself taut, or raise my hands to the sky and want, more than all the world, your return.
~ Mary Jean Iron

Yesterday and Today

After much mulling, over whether I have the time and spare money for online scrapbooking classes, I took the plunge. Here is to Yesterday and Today by Ali Edwards, one of my favorite scrapbooker and blogger.

Today is the beginning to what I hope is a full learning experience, and I am loving this quote from the class note,
The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill...

We cannot change our past...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude...I am convinced that life is 10 percent what happens to me and 90 percent how I react to it. And so it is with you...we are in charge of our attitudes.
