Baby K is 8 months old

Honestly. eight months already?! Today, Baby K gave a great showing by eating his solids well. Peas for breakfast (his least favorite, but he did good and ate spoonful by spoonful with big wide open mouth. Grandma was so happy). Apple for lunch (red gala apples that I made sure were whipped to creamy perfection). Again, mouthful after mouthful. Originally Grandma only prepared half a jar, but Baby K wanted more! So, he actually ate a whole jar. Wow. For dinner, my defrosted butternut squash didn't come out, so I prepared some oatmeal and banana last minute. Baby K again with big wide mouth. To bring the night to a perfect closure, he promptly fell asleep after the night nursing. Mommy and daddy were almost in tears... Grandma thinks it would have been more perfect if Baby K drank 4.5oz instead of 4oz of milk in between the solids, but hey, 4oz is better than 3oz or throwing up!
