The date didn't seem special until we signed the contract today. Yes, we are finally going to start construction. It's been four months since the house purchase. We ended up with the first Contractor we considered. We ended up with the very first house outline suggested by one of the architect we quoted with. Might seem like a waste of time, but I felt, because we went through the exercise of looking at other options, we will be happy with our decision. The added benefit of going through the exercise, is that we are much more clear on the responsibilities of a contractor and expectations of home remodeling. Now the blood letting will begin. Ack!
