The case with NUMMI

I have been fascinated with the demise of NUMMI the past few weeks. There is much angst locally. Of courswe, I wonder the impact this will have for the City of Fremont, my home for the past 10 years. I loathe to point fingers at Toyota, or GM, or even UAW. This article best articulated my thoughts. Something is seriously wrong with California's infrastructure. As the world's 7th largest economy, and being an expensive place by all standards, where did all the tax money go??
